Home of The Famous – “Hot Stone Steak”
La Tana is home to the original ‘Hot Stone Steak’. We were the first restaurant in Brighton to serve this famous dish, & although many have tried to replicate, ours is simply the best! We heat a cooking stone to about 600 degrees & cook / serve your steak at your table. You can have your steak exactly as you like, & the last bite will be as hot and delicious as the first.
The high temperature of the steak stone method sears the steak faster & cooks in the natural juices & nutrients, enhancing the full flavour and tenderness of the meat.
About La Tana
La Tana, arguably the best & friendliest Italian restaurant in Brighton & the surrounding area, was opened in 2012. What makes La Tana so special? There are two ‘ingredients’ to La Tana’s success – the quality of the food, & the welcome you get when you visit! We source our food & wine, where possible, from small artisan Italian producers, in fact two to three times a year La Tana’s chefs & owner visit Italy to see our suppliers & producers, to taste great produce, & to seek out inspiration. Italy (Naples) is also where our head chef and owner trained & worked for some time. If you love Italian food (like us!) then you simply must come to La Tana!
